What is laminated safety glass?
Laminated safety glass is composed of two or more sheets of glass bonded together by one or more interlayers of plastic material, such as polyvinyl butyral (PVB). This lamination process provides the glass with superior safety properties, as, in the event of breakage, the glass fragments remain adhered to the interlayer, reducing the risk of injury.
